Over the past 10 years, Donna has found her real passion in contemporary abstract painting. Her ink series of works evoke a calm and peaceful energy, with the ocean a common theme.  Donna's Maps series, have a more industrial appearance, and illustrates her fascination with the aerial view, contours of the local coastline and the myriad of roads that connect us all.
Donna has exhibited locally at Hunter Galleries, Cstudios Gallery, Back-to-Back Gallery, Nexus, Gallery 139, Acrux Gallery, Bank Glass Gallery, Avery Plastic Surgery, Creative Village and Nexus. She continues to be busy with commissions for private and corporate collections.

Donna donates artwork to various charities each year with a particular passion for HMRI and Mark Hughes Foundation. Invited by Hunter Medical Research Institute in 2016 as Artist in Residence, Donna was invited to paint the major artwork to reflect the study of the Researcher of the Year. The artwork went to auction and raised substantial funds for medical research.
